Keito Nakamura is a professional football player from Japan who plays for both the Japan national team and the Ligue 1 club Reims. The 23-year-old was born on July 28, 2000 and stands 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) tall.

He was born in Abiko, positioned around 30 kilometers from Chiba city and within 30 to 40 kilometers from the heart of Tokyo, Japan’s capital but the names of his parents aren’t known. He is single and unmarried.

A look at Keito Nakamura’s career

Nakamura left Mitsubishi Yowa of the Kantō Soccer League to join Gamba Osaka prior to the 2018 J1 League season.

In a 3–2 home loss to Nagoya Grampus on February 24, 2018, he made his senior debut at the age of 17. He came on in the 69th minute to replace Hwang Ui-jo, and ten minutes later, he crossed for Shun Nagasawa to go home and tie the score at two.

In February 2021, Nakamura was loaned to FC Juniors OÖ, a 2. Liga (Austria) team. He committed to the Austrian club LASK for three years on August 11, 2021. He was permanently moved to Stade Reims of France’s Ligue 1 league, it was confirmed on August 10, 2023.

On August 12, he made his Ligue 1 debut against Olympique de Marseille after coming on as a substitute in the fifteenth minute of the second half. On September 26, he scored his first goal in the Ligue 1 Round 6 victory over Lille OSC.

Talking about his international career, Nakamura has represented Japan at the Under-15, Under-16, and Under-17 levels. He competed in the AFC Under-16 Championship in 2016 and the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017, where Japan fell to England in the round of 16. Nakamura scored four goals in four games.

The Japanese youngster scored two goals on September 12, the day he made his national team debut.
