Her full name is Carolyn Julia McCall. She was born on September 13, 1961, in Bangalore, India. Her father is Arthur McCall, a Scottish-born executive who oversaw a US multinational textile company’s operations in the Far East, whereas her mother is Colleen McCall, an Irish-born staffer at the British High Commission in India.
Carolyn McCall did her early schooling in India and Singapore before attending a Roman Catholic boarding school for girls in Derbyshire. She then attended the University of Kent, Canterbury, where she pursued a BA in history and politics. Afterward, she graduated with a master’s in politics from the University of London.
She is married, and her husband’s name is Peter Frawley. The couple are the parents of three children: Emmeline, Max, and Dan. Carolyn is currently 61 years old.
