For the unfamiliar, currently social media platforms are flooded with a viral clip of a man force-feeding fish Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque sauce before releasing them back into the river.
Many who watch the viral video claims that they are feeling uncomfortable, disturbed and angered after witnessing the bizarre footage. Meanwhile many are asking about the identity of the mysterious man. So, let’s find out together!

After the disturbing video went viral, eagle eyed fans have found the mysterious man in the video. Although the real name of the man in question is yet to be identified, however, he goes by the name of SweetBabyFishin on Instagram.
What Exactly Happened?
For the unversed, earlier, on June 2024, an Instagram user who goes by the name SweetBabyFishin posted a video, wherein he is seen force-feeding Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque sauce in a fish’ mouth.
After doing the disturbing act the user can be heard laughing with a friend before finally releasing the fish back into the river.

After that video went viral, the photo-sharing platform user has uploaded several similar videos. One of which has garnered thousands of likes.
As of now there isn’t much information available about the Instagram user. Various users in the comment section are joking about the content, while majority of the users are criticizing him for animal abuse.
There are many who are calling Instagram to remove his account from the platform. These calls intensified after the disturbing video found its ways on X/Twitter.

The outrage was widespread when a user posted the video on Reddit with many are condemning the action as animal abuse. Reddit users are calling for his account ban as they are emphasizing that these actions are harmful to the fish’s environment.
These concerns increase the calls for the Instagram user to be banned from the platform and that these videos should be removed from the internet.
