Charani caught the spotlight at the Women’s Premier League auction, where a bidding war ended with her signing for Delhi Capitals at ₹55 lakh. During the WPL, she made an impression by dismissing Ellyse Perry and receiving her debut cap from Jess Jonassen. In March 2025, she reportedly bagged her maiden five-wicket haul in first-class cricket while playing for India A against India B during the Senior Women’s Multi-day Challenger Trophy in Dehradun. Domestically, she represents the Andhra women’s team.
Charani received her maiden India call-up in April 2025 for the ODI tri-series featuring South Africa and Sri Lanka, making her debut against the latter on April 27.
