The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has begun the process of serving a red corner notice to the two Bhopal-born individuals who are the brains behind the illicit betting app Mahadev Book: Ratan Lal Jain and Girish Talreja with Girish now arrested.

Previously under the scanner with a lookout notice issued by a special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the case has escalated to involve the Ministry of External Affairs for the issuance of a red corner notice against Ratan Lal Jain.
The frequent searches in Bhopal, carried out by the Enforcement Directorate resulted in the apprehension of Girish Talreja, a pivotal player in the Satta app marketing. Talreja, a Bhopal native, is currently being held while Ratan Lal Jain is still being sought after.

Through their investigation, the ED was able to link Shubham Soni, Pradeep Talreja, and Ratan Lal Jain to transactions worth millions of rupees. Girish, identified as a promoter of the Mahadev Satta App, became a subject of investigation, leading to his arrest by the Bhopal ED team. Numerous cities, including Raipur, Korba, Bilaspur, Pathalgaon, Surajpur, Pratappur, and Bhopal, saw simultaneous raids.

Girish Talreja is notorious for being a promotor of the illicit betting app, Mahadev Book. He has been in the news because he was recently arrested from Bhopal by the Enforcement Directorate.
Born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, he started off as a small-time bookmaker in his hometown before moving to Dubai with Ratan Lal Jain and becoming the brains behind one of the biggest betting networks in India.

According to ED sources, the pair has allegedly accumulated an astounding Rs 20,000 crore through their involvement in the illegal betting software Mahadev Gaming software. The Mahadev Gaming App provides a live gaming experience for card games, poker, badminton, tennis, cricket, and other sports. Girish’s net worth isn’t known though.
Notably, it also acted as a venue for illegal betting. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating people like Girish Talreja and actively exposing the cash benefits connected to these illegal acts.
