Yan Dhanda is a well-known Indian-origin English football player. He has been in the news because he recently urged the Indian government to permit OCI cards to Indian-origin footballers.
He was born on December 14, 1998, in Birmingham and later brought up in Tipton. He is of mixed ethnicity, as his mother belongs to white ethnicity, whereas his father is of Indian Punjabi descent and was born in England. He is a Punjabi by caste and Hindu by religion.
