Have a look at the bio, age, parents and husband of Chandra Holt
Once regarded as one of the most promising leaders in American retail, Chandra Holt is currently embroiled in a business scandal involving Ashley Buchanan, her former Walmart coworker and alleged love interest.
Kohl’s accused Buchanan of arranging a vendor agreement full of “undisclosed conflicts of interest,” leading to his dismissal as CEO this week.

Buchanan allegedly ordered Kohl’s to sign a multimillion-dollar deal with a vendor who had “highly suspicious” and “favourable” terms, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The Wall Street Journal named the woman as Chandra Holt, although the document did not name the vendor or the person involved.
“I’ve known Ashley Buchanan for 10 years, but I have not received any compensation for my Incredibrew business from Kohl’s,” Holt said.
Incredibrew have made well over £560,000 (around $750,000) in sales in less than 3 months. Holt and Andrew met over a decade ago at Walmart, where both worked in different capacities. Buchanan’s time there lasted over a decade, where he moved from managing units to senior executive roles while Holt’s time at Walmart was also significant, with leading roles in e-commerce and merchandising before moving on to CEO positions at Bed Bath & Beyond and Conn’s.

At Walmart, Holt held various leadership positions, contributing to the company’s expansive growth and in 2021, she took the helm as CEO, earning over $11.5 million in compensation in 2022. She resigned in October 2022 and in February 2024, Holt was appointed as the Division Chief Executive Officer for Bed Bath & Beyond under Beyond, Inc., with an annual base salary of $900,000 and a target bonus of the same amount. Holt’s net worth is estimated to be in the multi-million-dollar while Andrew is worth $14 million.
44-year-old Chandra Holt was born in 1981. Business executive Chandra is a retail veteran known for leadership roles at Walmart, Conn’s, and Bed Bath & Beyond and her career spans e-commerce innovation. Details about her parents and ethnicity are not known although some claims on social media platforms have said she’s of Indian origin. She’s currently believed to be single and unmarried although she was previously dating Andrew who was cheating on his wife with her.
Chandra Holt is the founder and CEO of Incredibrew, a coffee company she started in 2022 that says it adds vitamins and minerals to drinks. Whether Incredibrew was the seller in the Kohl’s transaction under investigation is yet unknown.
In an email from February 2022, a lawyer for Buchanan’s ex-wife acknowledged “Mr. Buchanan’s extramarital affair and there’s no dispute as to that.”

Before leaving at the same time for other senior positions, Buchanan and Holt worked closely together at Walmart, where they initially met. Holt left in 2021 to take a position as CEO of Conn’s HomePlus, and Buchanan moved in early 2020 to lead the massive arts and crafts company Michaels.
Most recently, from February 2024 until June 2024, she was the CEO of Beyond, Inc., the parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond and Overstock.com.
Among her outstanding resume are executive positions at Walgreens, Sam’s Club, and Target. She has an MBA in strategy and marketing from the Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in communications, PR, and advertising from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Kohl’s fallout
The departure of Buchanan coincides with a difficult time for Kohl’s. The business revealed plans to eliminate more than two dozen failing outlets and reported a 7.2% decline in yearly revenues to $15.4 billion. Serious repercussions followed the dismissal: Buchanan was forced to return a prorated amount of his $2.5 million signing bonus and renounce all stock awards given during his service.
Even while Kohl’s stressed that the CEO’s dismissal had “no bearing on the company’s financial performance,” the incident further agitates a business that already faces upheaval in its leadership. After Michelle Gass and Tom Kingsbury had brief stints as CEO, Buchanan was the third in as many years.
