Yifei Ye has recently made history after becoming the first Chinese driver to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans outright. Ye races for AF Corse alongside Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson in the #83 Ferrari 499P. Yifei Ye is a young and upcoming motorsports driver who was born on June 16, 2000 in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China but details about his parents aren’t known. He started out karting at the young age of 10 and quickly rose through the ranks. Ye eventually moved on from karting championships in China to dominating the French F4, Euroformula, and LMP2 series. Over the years, Ye has enjoyed a rapid and consistent trajectory in his career.
Ye’s path to this historic moment began in karting back in 2010, when he was just 10 years old and within two years, he had already claimed back-to-back China Karting Championship titles.
In 2016, at only 16, Ye captured the overall title in the French F4 Championship, becoming the first Chinese driver to win a single-seater championship in Europe and made his endurance racing debut in 2021 with G-Drive Racing, clinching the Asian Le Mans Series title alongside Austrian drivers Rene Binder and Ferdinand Habsburg in LMP2. He became an official Ferrari factory driver in 2024.

Career and stats
Ye started out karting back in 2010 and won back-to-back China Karting Championships in 2011 and 2012. He made his European competition debut back in 2013 after entering single-seaters in 2015. Ye has since dominated the 2016 French F4 Championship and notably won the 2020 Euroformula Open title.
