According to an Israeli ambassador on Monday, Idan Amedi, an Israeli singer-songwriter who previously starred in the renowned Netflix series “Fauda,” suffered significant injuries during ground operations against the Hamas organization in Gaza.

On X, Israel’s ambassador, Avia Levi, wrote,

Idan Amedi, one of Fauda’s actors, has been seriously injured in a battle in Gaza. We pray and pray for your speedy recovery.

After the conflict began on October 7, Amedi, who had starred in the renowned Netflix series, enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). On October 12, he uploaded a video on the internet while wearing military fatigues, captioning it, “It’s not a scene from Fauda, it’s real life.”

The Israeli embassy in Greece stated online that Amedi was hurt during combat in Gaza’s Khan Younis and wished him a quick recovery. The Israeli Embassy on X said,

Who is Idan Amedi?

Idan Amedi is a well-known Israeli singer-songwriter and actor. He has been in the news because he was seriously hurt while fighting with Hamas terrorists in an ongoing conflict.

He was born on 19 February 1988 in Jerusalem. Idan He is of Kurdish and Jewish descent.

Idan Amedi served in the combat engineering corps of the Israel Defense Forces during his necessary duty. His areas of expertise include Thai boxing and taekwondo, among other martial arts. In 2005, he finished second in the national taekwondo tournament before entering the military.

He is married, and his wife’s name is Miriam Benyaminov, a social activist for people with disabilities. The couple is the parents of one daughter, who was born in December 2019, and a son, who was born in May 2023.
