According to an Israeli ambassador on Monday, Idan Amedi, an Israeli singer-songwriter who previously starred in the renowned Netflix series “Fauda,” suffered significant injuries during ground operations against the Hamas organization in Gaza.

Idan Amedi, the Fauda star who was injured fighting in Gaza, sent two messages to the public following the outpouring of love directed at him.

On X, Israel’s ambassador, Avia Levi, wrote,
Idan Amedi, one of Fauda’s actors, has been seriously injured in a battle in Gaza. We pray and pray for your speedy recovery.
After the conflict began on October 7, Amedi, who had starred in the renowned Netflix series, enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). On October 12, he uploaded a video on the internet while wearing military fatigues, captioning it, “It’s not a scene from Fauda, it’s real life.”
The Israeli embassy in Greece stated online that Amedi was hurt during combat in Gaza’s Khan Younis and wished him a quick recovery. The Israeli Embassy on X said,
Wishing a speedy recovery to the great musician, singer and #Fauda actor Idan Amedi who was severely injured in battle in Khan Yunis in Gaza.

Who is Idan Amedi?
Idan Amedi is a well-known Israeli singer-songwriter and actor. He has been in the news because he was seriously hurt while fighting with Hamas terrorists in an ongoing conflict.
He was born on 19 February 1988 in Jerusalem. Idan He is of Kurdish and Jewish descent.
Idan Amedi served in the combat engineering corps of the Israel Defense Forces during his necessary duty. His areas of expertise include Thai boxing and taekwondo, among other martial arts. In 2005, he finished second in the national taekwondo tournament before entering the military.
He is married, and his wife’s name is Miriam Benyaminov, a social activist for people with disabilities. The couple is the parents of one daughter, who was born in December 2019, and a son, who was born in May 2023.
He is currently 35 years old but his height isn’t known.
Idan Amedi was born to a Kurds – Jewish family and raised in Jerusalem and during his mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces, Amedi was in the combat engineering corps.

Idan Amedi’s musical career took off following his powerful Kochav Nolad debut with the song “Pain of Warriors,” which was inspired by his combat experiences in the IDF and peaked at number one on the Israeli charts in 2010.
His 2011 debut album showcased hits like “Tashlich” and “Run to the Light,” earning praise for heartfelt compositions like “The Last Letter,” inspired by Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau’s book. With over 20,000 record sales in less than a year, Amedi’s career skyrocketed, earning him awards for “Song of the Year” and “Rookie of the Year.” He also became gold-certified.
Idan Amedi continues to be a skilled storyteller with his next albums, “Bazman Hahachron” (2013) and “Ratzinu Lihiyot” (2014). In “Menasim,” Amedi demonstrated his ability by fusing Hebrew and Arabic.
In 2016, he achieved gold and platinum status with “Chelek Mehazman,” solidifying his position with over 40,000 copies sold. Teasing his fifth album in 2020 with singles like “Ma at Margisha,” Amedi’s artistry evolved, evident in tracks like “Remember Almost Everything,” accompanied by his self-directed music video.
