He furthered his education with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Texas Tech Health Science Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, marking the beginning of a remarkable career dedicated to eye care.
Dr. Suggs’ commitment to excellence was evident in his extensive training. Dr. Mark Suggs served as a senior resident in the departments of ophthalmology and internal medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center Hospital. Later, he became a chief resident at the Department of Ophthalmology at the Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana, showcasing his dedication to honing his skills.
Dr. Mark Suggs was a scholar and educator.
