Ashley Scoggin claims that assistant coach Chuck Love groomed and pursued her for a s*xual relationship in the lawsuit that KETV NewsWatch 7 was able to get. On Sunday, Scoggin filed a 28-page lawsuit in U.S. District Court, claiming a hostile learning environment.
The school neglected to set up sufficient policies for educating staff members about having s*x with athletes, as Scoggin noted in her case. She claimed that an environment where s*xual misconduct became inevitable resulted from improper rules.
Scoggin reportedly wants specific damages and a jury trial in Lincoln for the rights violations. Because of its officials’ carelessness, she is going to be involved in a legal struggle with Nebraska’s athletic department.

Love worked for six seasons, beginning in 2021–22, as the associate head coach of the Nebraska women’s basketball team. With the club winning numerous Summit League crowns and securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament, he was a major contributor to their success.
