Alisia “Lisa” Salters is an American journalist who was born on March 6, 1966, in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States. She is the cousin of Tony Dorsett, a former University of Pittsburgh and Dallas Cowboys star running back. Salters currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee alongside her partner Stephanie White and their son Samuel. Back on October 13, 2017, Salters received the honor of getting inducted into the Montgomery County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.

During her time in college, she played as a guard for the Lady Lions basketball team from 1986 to 1987. Salters still holds the distinction of being the shortest ever-player in school history, standing at 5 feet 2 inches.

Salters currently works as a sideline reporter and co-producer for ABC’s NBA coverage as well as ESPN’s Monday Night Football. Lisa Salters has worked as a reporter for both the ESPN and ESPN on ABC since 2000. Over the years, she has reported worldwide for ESPN, including a series of reports from the Middle East.

Salters also hosted ESPN’s coverage of the Winter Olympics in 2006 from Turin, Italy, alongside ESPN’s coverage of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Interestingly, outside of sports, Salters also covered the O. J. Simpson murder case for ABC. Prior to joining ESPN, Salters also worked as a reporter at WBAL-TV, in Baltimore from the years 1988 to 1995.
