Who is Andy Milne?

Andy Milne is a huge fan of England Football Club. He has been to at least nine Euros and World Cups eight times. Andy is often shown on the television. He had gone viral during the Qatar World Cup for being Steve McClaren lookalike. 

He was a Biology teacher who is now retired from his teaching responsibilities. It is estimated that he has gone to around 500 games for his favourite side. 

The England supporter shared his experience with online haters and claimed to have used all of his cash to follow the Three Lions.

After being photographed in Qatar raising a replica version of the Jules Rimet Trophy during England’s 3-0 victory over Senegal, the fan has developed a cult following among Three Lions supporters. 

Milne has regrettably revealed that not all of the attention that accompanied being a viral sensation was positive, with some users of social media launching insulting remarks. He said as per Daily Mail:

“I’m pretty clueless so at the time I did none and missed out on all of that, looking back on it I was quite nastily trolled for 24 hours.” 

He continued, “People saying ‘he doesn’t look like Steve McLaren, he looks like a paedophile!’, ‘Ken Dodd’s love child’ – this sort of thing.”
