Before founding Figma, Field worked as a Product Design intern and a software engineering intern at Flipboard.

Field stated about his work at Figma in a Figma blog post:

Over the past five years, I’ve seen firsthand how working in a collaborative digital space moves teams from a mindset of ‘my ideas’ to ‘our ideas’, in many ways, design is deeply personal, and opening up that work to others to build on and remix can feel like opening up a part of yourself. But that’s why this change is so important.

Interestingly, Field also featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30: Consumer Technology list in 2015 when he was just 22. Field is currently married to Elena Nadolinski.

Dylan Field Net Worth

Dylan Field has an estimated net worth of around $1 billion. This net worth is expected to rise, following Adobe’s acquisition of the company. The 30 year old is unmarried.

The press release also revealed that together Adobe and Figma will together “reimagine the future of creativity and productivity, accelerate creativity on the web, advance product design and inspire global communities of creators, designers and developers.”

Will Dylan Field Remain Figma CEO?

Dylan Field will definitely remain as the CEO of Figma. Dylan stated in a blog post on the Figma website that Adobe is “deeply committed” to keeping Figma operating autonomously.

However, Field will now be reporting to David Wadhwani, someone he has known for a few years. The two men apparently have a “strong relationship” of “mutual respect,” and Field is excited to collaborate with Wadhwani on how to continue growing Figma’s business.

Field further wrote about the acquisition:
