Jasveen Sangha is a woman from Los Angeles who recently got arrested for her involvement in drug-dealing. Sangha is currently 41-years-old and holds a dual British and American citizenship. She was dubbed as the “Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles,” and ran a drug operation out of her home.
Sangha has long been under the radar of federal authorities due to her involvement in the distribution of dangerous narcotics. Back in June 2019, Sangha came under scrutiny after authorities caught her selling methamphetamine in an unrelated case in March. During the raid on her home, federal agents managed to seize about 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and over 2,000 meth pills.
Jasveen Sangha charged with Matthew Perry’s death
‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry passed away last year, on October 28. The actor had a longstanding battle with addiction and was found dead in his home from a ketamine overdose. According to investigations, Perry had obtained the batch of ketamine through a broker, named Eric Fleming. Fleming in turn sourced the drug Jasveen Sangha.
According to court documents, Sangha supplied about 50 vials of ketamine in two separate deals to Fleming. The dealings occurred in the weeks leading up to Matt Perry’s death. According to the indictment, Perry had first sampled the drug on October 13, following which Fleming delivered two large batches on October 14 and October 24. Jasveen Sangha even added “ketamine lollipops” as a bonus due Perry’s substantial order. According to US Attorney Martin Estrada, Jasveen reportedly earned around $11,000 through the transactions.

Jasveen Sangha is currently facing multiple charges in connection with the crime. This includes conspiracy to distribute ketamine, maintaining drug-involved premises, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. She is also facing charges of possession with intent to distribute ketamine, and distribution of ketamine. Moreover, reports indicate that she is also facing accusations of causing Cody McLaury’s death in 2019.
