An Argentina based TV reporter, Dominique Metzger is making headlines after she was robbed during the opening day of the FIFA World Cup 2022
As per a report by the New York Post, the Argentinian reporter stated that her belongings, including money, documents, and credit cards were stolen while she was live on the air.

Although, the theft wasn’t caught on the TV, however, police told her the Corniche area where she was present with fans while the alleged crime took place, is under surveillance.
As per the statement revealed by the journalist, the authorities asked her what kind of punishment she wanted to impose on the thief.
“The policewoman said to me: ‘We have high-tech cameras everywhere and we are going to locate him [the thief] with face detection. What do you want the justice system to do when we find him?”
She further added, “What justice do you want? What sentence do you want us to give him? Do you want him to be sentenced to five years in prison? Do you want him to be deported?”
Who’s Dominique Metzger?
Dominique is a journalist from Argentina, who works for the Todo Noticias network. As per reports, the tv reporter was covering the 2022 FIFA World Cup and was live broadcasting from Doha while she was robbed.
After the incidents took place, the reporter posted about the same on her social media alleging that she had been robbed.
As per her allegations, her bag was stolen in which there were numerous crucial documents such as her ID, as well as personal belongings.
Later on the television, she described the incident in detail.
She recounted the incident on television as she stated, “They just stole my wallet when we were doing the live broadcast. The police, they sent me here to file a report.
She further added, “The documents and the cards are what worries me the most, I don’t care about the rest. So, we’ll see what happens. Experiences that you don’t expect to live through, you live through them.”
