Rock and Gurney made history after delivering Northern Ireland their first-ever PDC World Cup of Darts title. The pair defeated Welsh duo Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton with a 10–9 score in a tense final. Rock managed to hold his nerve throughout the match and helped close out a thrilling decider.

Josh Rock is a professional darts player who was born on April 13, 2001, in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Rock started out playing darts in 2016, followed by a brief stint in the WDF in 2021, following which he joined the PDC in 2022. Rock quickly made a name for himself with his heavy scoring, composed stage presence, and ability to challenge top-tier players.
