Simarjeet Singh is an Indian cricketer who was born on January 17, 1998 in Delhi, India who plays for Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Cricket Team.

Simarjeet Singh is a right handed batsman and right arm medium pacer. With the new ball, the tall, talented fast bowler is known for taking wickets and can frequently reach speeds of 140 kmph.
The 26-year-old made his List A debut in the 2018–19 season on 20 September 2018 Vijay Hazare Trophy for Delhi. Later, in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, on November 20, 2018, he made his first-class debut.
He made his Twenty20 debut on November 11, 2019 where he represented Delhi in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He was selected as one of India’s five net bowlers for the June 2021 tour to Sri Lanka.
For their last two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches of the tour, Singh was added to the Indian starting eleven following the team’s positive COVID-19 test. Following his talent, he started getting noticed by the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams.
He was added to the Mumbai Indians squad in September 2021 in order to play in the IPL while Arjun Tendulkar was sidelined following injury. He was later acquired by the Chennai Super Kings in February of that year during the Indian Premier League 2022 auction.
He participated in his maiden Indian Premier League season in 2022 after being purchased at auction by the Chennai Super Kings for a base price of Rs. 20 lakhs. In 2023, he was retained by the Chennai based side.
