Cori Borgstadt is just 18 years old. She is a Disney superfan who hails from Peoria, Arizona. Cori Borgstadt for almost a decade is gaining knowledge about the company as it’s her childhood dream to succeed Bob Iger as CEO of The Walt Disney Company.
Borgstadt has also attended annual Disney shareholder meetings since she was just 3 in 2008. This Monday, 3rd April marks Cori Borgstadt’s 16th straight appearance at the annual shareholder confab.
Cori is no silent observer, either. The Disney fan is seen speaking up in the meetings and has she asked Bob Iger many questions about the nitty-gritty of the company’s behind-the-scenes operations.
Back in 2015, Cori Borgstadt asked Robert for a piece of advice he would give to “a kid who wants your job someday,” she explained in an interview with Wall Street Journal.
Robert responded to her question “You can come to our shareholders’ meeting.”
After completing high school, Cori is presently a college freshman who is enrolled at Texas Tech University. Cori has a deep interest in economics and she is focusing on her film and media studies. This is the ideal combination for a person who is having the ambition to run The Walt Disney Company.
