The 50-year-old actress took to her newly reactivated Instagram account on Wednesday, December 7, to announce she is going separate ways with Dave after 20 years of marriage.
The actress made the decision of divorce hours after her husband’s pictures of kissing another woman surfaced online.

For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the 44-year-old musician is caught kissing a woman named Shannon Egan.
The pictures of the duo kissing passionately made their ways online. Shortly after which the actress announced her divorce.
In her Instagram post, the Pieces of Her actress penned down, “It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing.”
The actress further added, “We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other. Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape.
“We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully. Big thanks.”
Who’s Shannon Egan?
For those who are unfamiliar with Shannon Egan, let us tell you, the 41-year-old woman is a Sydney-based chiropractor.
As per a report by DailyMail, Egan has more than 15 years of experience in her job.
As per the reports, the present alleged Lady-Love of David Galafassi had completed a Bachelors as well as Master’s degree from the Macquarie University in Chiropractic Science.
Her online profile bio describes Egan as someone who had emerged “Through her own health challenges in recovering from a chronic illness, Shannon understands the complexities of health and the need for an integrative approach, both medically and holistically.”
Her profile also revealed that she had developed a fascination for Psychological effects of disease. As of now, Egan or Galafassi hasn’t made any public comment regarding their alleged affair.
Coming back to the Hollywood couple, they got married back in 2003 and share 2 children together.
The now former couple met during an album launch of Galafassi’s former band named Gelbison.
