Age 33 Cheistha Kochhar, the daughter of retired Lieutenant General Dr. SP Kochhar, who serves as the Director General at the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), had previously resided in Gurugram. Last September, she moved to London to pursue her PhD in organizational behavior management at the London School of Economics.

Kochhar finished her academic journey at Delhi University, Ashoka University, and the Universities of Pennsylvania and Chicago. Her LinkedIn profile indicates that she served as a senior advisor at India’s National Behavioral Insights Unit within NITI Aayog from 2021 to 2023. Reports suggest that Kochhar tied the knot with Prashant, an IT professional, in 2023.

How did the police react to Cheistha Kochhar’s accident?

In response to the accident, law enforcement and medical responders quickly arrived at the scene between Farringdon and Clerkenwell, where Cheistha Kochhar was found severely injured. Despite the efforts of emergency services, according to reports from the Metropolitan Police cited by The London Evening Standard, the 33-year-old succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
