Who is the KKR head coach for IPL 2023?

Chandrakant Pandit took over as head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders in August, succeeding Brendon McCullum.

McCullum, who took over as England’s Test coach in May 2022, has worked with Ben Stokes as captain to lead a revolution and has successfully used his “Bazball” style.

England has won 10 of the last 12 Test matches played under McCullum’s direction, with the lone defeat coming by a score of just one run.

What is Chandrakant Pandit’s coaching record?

Between 1986 and 1992, Pandit, a former wicketkeeper for India, competed in 36 one-day internationals and five tests on behalf of his country.

He recently contributed to Madhya Pradesh’s upset victory in India’s premier first-class competition, the Ranji Trophy, garnering him a lot of respect in the domestic cricket community.

He has also won the Ranji Trophy five times, five times each with the teams Mumbai and Vidarbha.

Who is Chandrakant Pandit?

Chandrakant Sitaram Pandit, a former Indian spinner, was born on September 30, 1961, and played in 36 ODIs and 5 Tests between 1986 and 1992. He is currently 61 years old.

He served as the wicket keeper and batsman for the Indian national cricket squad. He participated in his first test match against England on June 19, 1986, at Headingley, Leeds, the same match in which England wicket-keeper Bruce French made his test debut.

India ultimately won 2-0 against its opponents.

After retiring as a player, Pandit established a cricket academy at his alma mater, the Hansraj Morarji Public School. He was a successful cricket coach for several groups, including the Mumbai cricket side.

With a number of teams, including the Mumbai cricket side, he had successful coaching tenures. He guided the Vidarbha cricket team to back-to-back Ranji Trophy wins in 2018 and 2019.

He guided Mumbai to two consecutive Ranji Trophy triumphs in 2003 and 2004.

He led and coached the Madhya Pradesh team to its first Ranji Trophy victory in 2022. In 2022, Pandit will serve as the team’s head coach for the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.
