Chad Dillon was the owner of The Boiler Seafood and Crab Boil, a Black-owned restaurant located in Atlanta that provides fried lobster tails, fried king crab, fried catfish, hushpuppies, and other dishes.

33 year old Chad Dillon was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Chad’s parents are Jamaican, and he has always had a flair for business. He saw a hole in the market and jumped at the chance to offer Atlantans a classier version of a seafood boil. He first tried to become a Juicy Crab franchisee but unfortunately Chad found no success. At that point, he decided to take a chance of introducing his own idea.

In January 2019, Chad Dillon began organizing The Boiler Seafood and in August 2019 he leased a building in Atlanta’s Buckhead district. Despite all the obstacles posed by the worldwide health crisis during that time, Chad persevered in realizing his objective. December 4 in 2020 marked the opening of The Boiler Seafood.
In an interview he said, “I am a thinker and innovator, so even without a culinary background, I enjoy finding voids in the business market and creating solutions; creating restaurant concepts from ideation to execution, coming up with new menu items, and creating amazing customer experiences.”
Around 4:00 p.m., Chad Dillon who was known to be the owner of The Boiler Seafood restaurant in Buckhead was seen driving his Rolls Royce. Dillon was shot in his car at 480 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE in the Old Ward area for an unidentified reason. Upon arrival at the site, Dillon was found to have sustained many gunshot wounds, which tragically resulted in his death in Atlanta.
