Brotherchu Passes Away

He was fatally shot dead during a violent carjacking incident that took place at Montgomery Park near San Mateo Blvd. The suspect reportedly crashed his Subaru and tried to steal a vehicle occupied by the Slydell family. In the midst of the chaos, the suspect fatally Brotherchu while his mother, Marie Lucero, suffered critical injuries.
During the altercation, a security guard from a nearby complex saw the attempted carjacking and intervened. He managed to fatally shoot the suspect and prevent more casualties. Following the incident, the Albuquerque Police Department credited the guard with saving the mother’s life.
