The 31-year-old was accused of “resisting the law” after being Tasered by police in the early hours of Sunday morning in Palma.
Vunipola was allegedly tasered by Spanish police after he had assaulted an officer. He was subsequently brought to a nearby Son Espases Hospital. The player has stated that he is ready to cooperate with Saracens’ internal investigation.

Who is Billy Vunipola?
Billy Vunipola is a profesional rugby player who was born on November 3, 1992 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The 31-year-old stands 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) with his weight at 126kg and is the number eight rugby player for Saracens, a Premiership team. The player is also an England International.
He moved to Wales with his family as a young child after his father Feʻao Vunipola signed for Pontypool RFC in 1998.

At The Castle School in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England, Billy Donovan played junior rugby for Thornbury RFC. After that, he was awarded a scholarship to attend the Harrow School.
Before that, he attended the Griffithstown Junior School and Porth Infants School in addition to playing for Joseph Lane’s New Panteg RFC. While attending the Harrow School, he became a member of the Wasps Academy.
Billy Donovan made his senior team debut in the 2011–12 season and played 30 games over the course of two seasons before leaving at the end of the 2012–2013 campaign.
