Who is Oliver Drost?
Oliver Vugrin Flindt Drost is a Danish professional football player who was born on November 4, 1995, in Helsingør, Denmark. The 28-year-old now plays forward for Bengaluru, a team in the Indian Super League. The 28-year-old measures 1.87 m (6 ft 2 in) tall.
A look at Oliver Drost’s career
Returning to his old junior club, B.93, in the spring of 2014, Drost signed a two-year deal to join the senior team at the age of eighteen and made his debut in the Danish 2nd Division against Naestved BK right away.
Eight of Drost’s 14 games in the spring of 2014 began with him coming off the bench. He participated in 26 games with 8 goals in the next season. He joined Vejle Boldklub after departing the club in the summer of 2016.
Drost from Vejle was loaned to AC Horsens for the remainder of the 2017 season, the club announced on August 31st. He signed a deal with Kolding IF on October 23, 2019, as a free agent, for the remainder of the season.
Drost returned to AC Horsens and signed a contract for the remainder of the season after spending a few weeks on trial. After becoming a free agent again on September 8, 2020, the forward agreed to a one-year contract with Kolding IF.
He then returned to his childhood club. Drost and FC Helsingør inked a pre-contract on January 11, 2021, which took effect on July 1, 2021, before he penned a contract with Indian Premier League side Bengaluru FC.
