While authorities have arrested pranksters in the past, this is the first time that they have arrested a prankster based on videos.
YaNike arrested for throwing “diverse substances”
A Belgian YouTuber named YaNike recently got arrested for throwing buckets of “diverse substances,” containing beer, water, paint, food, and dog feces, on people on trains. In the videos, viewers can also see the content creator mixing up his repulsive brew before carrying out the act. According to an r/Belgium subreddit, the YouTuber has carried out the acts at least twice.
As of now, there are no exact details about whether YaNike will be given bail or receive a sentencing. YaNike reportedly has at least five of these videos, titled “Suprise du chef,” on his YouTube channel. In all of these videos, he mixes up a bucket of various elements before taking them up on a bus and pouring it on someone else.

YaNike has an Instagram account with the handle @yanike.officiel, where he has around 218 followers and about 138 posts. Meanwhile, he also has a YouTube account where he has just 291 subscribers and about 5 videos.
YaNike prior arrests
According to reports, there are already two complaints filed against YaNike in the prosecutor’s office based on his videos. The first one was from a victim, while the other complaint was from STIB, which is a public transportation company in Brussels. According to reports, the YaNike showered a mixture of oil and dog feces on the victim from the first incident.
Other arrested YouTubers
Aside from YaNike, authorities have arrested many other YouTubers in the past for committing outrageous acts just for becoming famous. Some of these people include RossCreations and, more recently, Richard “Famous Richard” Sharp, who got arrested for attempted robbery. In fact, police have arrested this YouTuber for two counts of assault, battery, and damaging property.
