Sarkar’s strong conviction in justice and everyone’s right to a fair trial including those accused of terrible crimes led her to decide to take on the RG Kar case. She condemned pre-trial rulings and underlined her commitment to protecting the idea of “innocent until proven guilty” in a recent interview.
