Ashley ShahAhmadi is a Charlotte Hornets sideline reporter for Bally Sports Southeast who was born on June 23, 1992 in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Iranian-American, graduated in Digital Media andย Broadcast Journalism from the University of Georgia.
A look at Ashley ShahAhmadi’s career
Ashley began her professional life in Meridian, Mississippi. She worked for WTOK-TV for two years as a sports anchor, producer, and reporter before relocating to Jackson to work for ABC affiliate WAPT. After moving to the Atlanta-based Fox Sports Southeast in 2018, which is currently called as Bally Sports Southeast, she received her big break.
Before becoming a digital platform host and reporter for the Hornets, she started out as a social media host for Atlanta-based teams. She started off as an employee who commuted to Charlotte for home games and continued her work in Atlanta as an employee of the NBA team while it was away.
