Evan Ndicka is a French professional footballer who was born on August 20, 1999, in Paris, France. He currently plays as a centre-back for Serie A club Roma as well as the Ivory Coast national team. Ndicka was born to a Cameroonian father and an Ivorian mother, and he has four older siblings, including three brothers and one sister. Notably, Ndicka is a left-footed centre-back and has a rather imposing physique.

Ndicka started of his football career at the Auxerre academy, and made his senior debut for the club in January 2017, at the young age of 17. Ndicka then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018, where he scored 12 goals and ten assists in 183 appearances. He spent over five seasons for the German side, donning the No. 2 jersey. Despite being born in France and spending his early years there, where he played at every level from U16 up to U21, Ndicka decided to pledge his allegiance to Cote d’Ivoire, rather than Cameroon or France.
