Chanda Kochhar who is the former ICICI Bank CEO and her husband named Deepak Kochhar were arrested by the CBI on Friday, over a loan provided to the Videocon Group. Their arrest was adversely impacted by the marriage of their son, who is Arjun Kochhar.

As per media reports, Arjun Kochhar’s marriage functions were all set and planned between January 15th and January 18th, in the city of Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer’s, 2 high-end hotels were booked. Due to the arrest, Arjun’s wedding stands cancelled for now.
Arjun Kochhar Education, Family And Professional Career
Arjun Kochhar had finished his graduation from the prestigious Yale University. The Kochhar’s have 2 children. Their daughter Aarti got married early in 2014. Arjun is the younger child of Deepak Kochhar and Chandra Kochar.
He served at McKinsey and Company in New York, United States for two years. He was a business analyst. According to Kochar’s LinkedIn, he is working as an investment banker and a summer analyst for Citi Bank in Mumbai. He finished his schooling at Mumbai’s John Connon School and The Cathedral.
Arjun Kochharโs Wedding
As per the media, the whole family of Kochharโs on Thursday shared an invite over WhatsApp invite to close friends as well as their relatives for cocktails and later on they did dinner Taj Palace to celebrate Sanjana and Arjun’s wedding news. However, this lavish Indian wedding stands cancelled now.
The family has also cancelled their association with the event management company as well. As per Dainik Bhaskar, the duo had booked 150 luxury cars to ferry guests to and from two hotels in Rajasthan city. Arjun Kochharโs fiancรฉ Sanjana belongs to a business family and the event company had been preparing for the wedding for the last 3 months.
The preparations were finalized before they got arrested by the police officials. Now there is no information related to Arjun Kochharโs weddingโs new dates as the family has not given any statement after the arrest of his parents.
