Tom Voyce has created a storm on social media after reports emerged suggesting that the 43-year-old rugby star went missing. However, the recent updates reveal that the body of the English former rugby union player has been found in an area flooded during Storm Darragh.
After the tragic reports surfaced, rugby enthusiasts flooded the social media platforms, especially X/Twitter and Reddit as they are curious as to what happened to Tom Voyce.

As per media reports, ex-England rugby player Voyce is believed to have been swept away by a swollen river while attempting to cross in his car.

The investigators launched a search party on Sunday afternoon after the professional player failed to return home following an evening out with his friends.
The search party includes the specialist officers such as the Marine Section, the National Police Air Service, drones, and dog handlers. Though, the authorities have recovered Voyce’s car, who have been missing since Saturday, he has yet to be found.
Though a latest update suggest that the Marine Unit of Northumbria Police’s has recovered a body near Abberwick Mill.
However, official identification of the body is yet to take place. Reportedly, the authorities have notified the next kin of Voyce about this discovery.
Who was Tom Voyce?
Born on January 5, 1981, Tom Voyce, whose full name is Thomas Michael Dunstan Voyce was an English former rugby union player. Standing at 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) tall, Voyce played as a wing or fullback.
Being born and raised in Truro, Cornwall, England, the player attended Penair School, Truro, for his early education. Later, he went to attend King’s College, Taunton.
Wife
Voyce was married to Anna Wood, with whom he walked down the aisle in September 2015 at Babington House. The two made their relationship public a year earlier as they revealed to their fans they were dating.
Shortly after they gave up the bright lights of London for country life in Northumberland and Tom then went on to set up his own business, Trevow, in vegetation management.
The couple were currently residing near Alnwick, Northumberland, just 15 minutes away from the beach.
After Voyce went missing, Anna took to social media and expressed gratitude for the support they received from the police officials, friends, and the local community members as the search continues.
