Andreas Seidl is a motorsport engineer and manager from Germany. He is the current CEO of Sauber Motorsport and was previously the team principal of the McLaren Formula One team. He is married and a father of two children but his wife’s name is not known.

Seidl began his Formula One career in 2000 and continued with the BMW F1 team through 2009. He earned a mechanical engineering diploma after graduating from the Technical University of Munich. Seidl previously held an F1 position with BMW from 2000 through 2009. BMW’s return to the DTM in 2012 under Seidl’s direction followed BMW’s exit from Formula 1. Seidl joined the Porsche LMP1 team in 2013 as the Director of Race Operations before being elevated to Team Principal the following year.
