Authorities are looking for a man accused of killing four people in a shooting early Saturday in Hampton, Georgia.
The suspect was identified by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office as Andre Longmore, 40. According to the authorities, the suspect is allegedly operating a 2017 black GMC Acadia with the licence plate DHF 756, which is not his own car.
The incident, which took place in the Hampton neighbourhood of Dogwood Lakes, is currently the focus of law enforcement.
Andre Longmore: Who Is He?
41-year-old Andre Longmore is about 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was last seen sporting long grey trousers and a dark shirt with crimson accents.
Anyone who can assist with the capture of Longmore will be rewarded $10,000. The authorities are making efforts to control the situation and ensure the community’s safety.
Around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, the Hampton Police Department reported an active shooter incident in the Dogwood Lakes subdivision.
Henry County Sheriff Confirms The Suspect
At a 4 p.m. press conference, Henry County Sheriff Reginald B. Scandrett identified Andre Longmore as the culprit in the tragic incident. Around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, Hampton experienced a shocking incident that cost four lives. Authorities have acquired arrest warrants for Longmore on charges connected to murder as they investigate the situation further.
The Henry County Government has been informed that the investigation is still ongoing. The Hampton Police Department is receiving assistance from the Henry County Crime Scene Unit, Henry County Homeland Security, Henry County Sheriff’s Department, and Henry County Police Department in conducting the investigation. Additionally, information has been provided to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
