These allegations appeared online after it was revealed that Platner’s wife, Amy Gertner herself revealed about the same to a Senior aide last year. Reports claim that Amy told the aide that her husband had been involved with exchanging s*xually explicit messages with several women in the early stage of their marriage.

Amy Gertner is an Art teacher, and used to teach elementary and middle school students for 15 years. She used to teach at Hope Elementary School, and Camden Hills Regional High School. She left her teaching career in 2024 to became a full-time business manager.

In her now-viral video, the Art teacher is seen explaining that the two have “a great marriage.” Furthermore, she also explained while supporting her Politician husband that being “married is hard,” but at the same time going through “infertility is hard,” while adding that in all of this going through “Senate Campaign is hard.”
In her viral video, Amy expressed that she “wanted to make a statement,” while referring that she is making the video as a statement in response to the the news articles about her marriage to Graham.
In her now-viral video which so far received 3.6 million views, 11K likes, 2K shares, and 4.9K comments, she stated that “she and Graham got married in 2023,” and the two lives in Sullivan and the couple has “two dogs.”
Additionally, she added that “we love each other deeply,” while adding that it makes her angry, disappointed, and she finds it “really shameful,” that “there is a group of media outlets and people who are willing to spread gossip instead of talking about real issues.”
Furthermore, she added that her husband is running on health care, education, and child care, while also adding that “Graham and I have a great marriage. Being married is hard. Being newly married is hard. Being newly married and going through infertility is hard.”
