On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, a missing person report was filed for Abby Choi. A missing person report was filed when she failed to pick up her daughter from school. Abby and Alex shared two children, a son and a daughter.
Her dismembered body parts were found along with an electric saw, a meat slicer, and some clothes. The house where they were found belonged to her ex-husband’s father.

Her ex-husband, Alex Kwong has now been arrested Meanwhile, the police arrested Alex’s parents and his elder brother in connection with the murder.
It is not clear when she was divorced from Alex Kwong, whose parents and brother are now embroiled in police investigations into her gruesome murder and Choi married Kwong when she was about 18 and had two kids with him, now reportedly aged eight and 10. Alex’s father is an ex-police man.
Choi was found dead in her Tai Po house and she was 28 years old. The influencer was reported missing on 21 February 2023, Tuesday and her body was dismembered with a a meat slicer and an electric seen lying near her.

The 28-year-old has 80,000 followers on Instagram and is considered a fashionista and a style icon in Hong Kong. She came to the limelight after she was featured in “L’Officiel Monaco” as a “style icon.”
With the feature in the top brand, she received international fame and became a popular socialite. She was often pictured at Paris Fashion Week with big celebrities.
The Brutal Murder Case
According to the authorities, Choi was seen on a security film just before she disappeared. A white male suspect was also seen in the footage placing a sizable white plastic box into the car.
On Friday, a report relieved that police found her dismembered body parts, identity card, credit cards, and other valuables in a house that the ex-father husband was renting out.
Superintendent Alan Chung stated in a new press conference that police discovered the flat was meticulously arranged by a cold-blooded killer. All the sharp tools, including a meat grinder, chainsaws, long raincoats, masks, and gloves, were found at his ex- father-in-law’s rented apartment.
Days after her gruesome murder was uncovered, police recovered the body parts in two large pots holding soup and human parts.
Some of her missing ribs were also found; detectives discovered two sizable pots nearly full of soup and minced meat thought to be human remains. Her head was found in one of those two big pots, and her legs were found in the fridge, whereas her torso and hand remain missing.
Key Suspects In The Case
According to reports, the victim’s murder was motivated by a financial dispute involving real estate worth tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars. Choi supported her ex-husband’s family even after the divorce.
However, in 2016, Choi married TamJai Yunnan Mixian, who is the son of the founder of Hong Kong’s casual dining chain. After her second marriage, she stopped supporting her ex-husband Alex with finance.
Alex is said to be directly related to the murder of Abby Choi. Another person involved is Alex Kwong’s brother. The 31-year-old, Alex’s brother (Abby’s ex-brother-in-law) was Abby’s personal driver. Anthony drove her to the village house before meeting with his father and younger brother, where Alex brutally killed her.
