The Gaganyaan, or “celestial vehicle,” is an idea that the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has been working on for a long time. Who is Ajit Krishnan?
Ajit Krishnan is an Indian Air Force pilot and an astronaut. He has been in the news because he is expected to be among the first to go off on the space mission scheduled for 2025.
He was born on 19 April 1982 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and is a notable alumnus of the National Defense Academy (NDA). Apart from this, he also attended Wellington’s Defence Services Staff College (DSSC).
His career in aviation has been distinguished by a number of noteworthy accomplishments, starting with the honor of receiving the Sword of Honour and the President’s Gold Medal at the Air Force Academy.
Group Captain Ajit Krishnan joined the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter stream on 21st June 2003, and since then, he has gained a great deal of experience as an aviator.
