Standing at 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) tall, and weighing 220 lb (100 kg), Griffinโs basketball journey was briefly interrupted by injuries during high school but culminated in a successful freshman season at Duke, earning him a spot in the NBA Draft 2022.
At the age of 21, he was selected as the 16th overall pick in the NBA Draft 2022 by the Atlanta Hawks after playing college basketball at Duke.
He joined the Rockets in a three-team trade with the Miami Heat in June. Griffin, who is the son of former Bucks coach and ex-NBA player Adrian Griffin, played 72 games during his rookie season.
Although, the professional player saw limited action last year, appearing in just 20 games. Internationally, Griffin represented the United States at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2019 in Brazil.
