Who is Josh Cavallo?
Joshua John Cavallo is an Australian professional soccer player for Adelaide United in the A-League Men. He plays as a left-back and central midfielder. The 24-year-old stands 1.76 m (5 ft 9 in) tall. He is Maltese and Italian by heritage.

Cavallo has played for the national under-20 squad of Australia. For Adelaide United, he is the team’s central midfielder and left-back. He claims that while he was first more interested in playing tennis, he soon “fell in love” with the game after his brother pushed him to kick a ball around the garden.
At the age of 15, Cavallo was spotted by a national programme, and Melbourne Victory later gave an offer of a scholarship. He was a youth representative for Melbourne Victory FC and Melbourne City FC.
Josh played for Western United before moving to Adelaide. Cavallo committed to playing for Adelaide United on a short-term deal on February 18, 2021. On May 11, he inked a two-year contract extension following a good spell in the 2020–21 A-League.
