Who is Abhishek Nayar?
Abhishek Nayar is a former Indian cricket player who took up coaching as his post-retirement as a player. The 40-year-old was born on 8 October 1983 in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, India and stands 5′ 7″ (170 cm) tall. He went to Mahim’s Bombay Scottish School.

Abhishek Nayar is an assistant coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders. The former player bowled right-arm medium-pace and was a left-handed batsman.
In addition to playing first-class cricket for Mumbai, he was a representative of the Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Pune Warriors India, and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League. November 2018 marked the 100th first-class match he participated in.
