Leeds United fan falls from upper tier of Stamford Bridge
The shocking incident took place on Wednesday during an FA Cup match between Leeds United and Chelsea, which ended in a 3-2 defeat for the Whites. During the game, the supporter fell from the upper tier of Stamford Bridge, around the corner of the away end. The fan reportedly fell while celebrating a Leeds goal.
Following his fall, medical staff and police officials quickly rushed to gather around the injured fan as the game continued. After receiving treatment from the medics, officials quickly took the individual away to the hospital while fellow supporters looked on.
Leeds United fan who punched ex-England goalie Chris Kirkland
According to reports, the fan who fell from the stands is reportedly the same man who previously punched ex-England goalie Chris Kirkland. The thug reportedly got jailed for punching goalkeeper Chris Kirkland live on TV back in 2012. The man, identified as Aaron Cawley, got a four-month prison sentence as well as a six-year football banning order due to his actions. The 33-year-old raced onto the pitch before attacking the then-Sheffield Wednesday star.
