Investigators are apparently now examining if the actions of Matthew Livelsberger were motivated by emotional distress due to his wife leaving him rather than political motivations as more information becomes available
A strange and sad event occurred in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day when 37-year-old Army Special Forces soldier Matthew Livelsberger exploded a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel before killing himself inside the vehicle.
Who are the first and second wife of Tesla Cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger and more about his family, parents, ethnicity, religion and nationality
Days before Christmas, Matthew Livelsberger started to decline emotionally and mentally. Law enforcement sources claim that after Jennifer Anne Davis, the second wife of US Army Green Beret Matthew Livelsberger confronted him about his infidelity, they got into an argument that ruined their marriage with her leaving him six days before the attack in Las Vegas.
According to sources in the New York Post, Livelsberger left his wife and their baby daughter behind when he departed their Colorado Springs home six days later.
Livelsberger was divorced from his first wife, remarried and had an 8-month-old daughter with his second wife and she continued to live in Colorado Springs and he traveled back and forth from Germany.
“He loved his family, but he was clearly struggling,” a source familiar with the case revealed.
He was previously married to Sara, his first wife and a Facebook profile for Sara Livelsberger is circulating on social media. The account for Sara Livelsberger makes references to Matthew Livelsberger, who she refers to as her husband. Sara began divorce proceedings in July 2017 with the split finalised a year later. Sara is now settled in South Florida with her second husband.
Matthew had texted several ex-girlfriend before the attack including his ex-gf, single mom Alicia Arritt and Matthew Livelsberger’s texts to her were playful, almost like a kid with a new toy.
“I rented a Tesla Cybertruck. It’s the s***,” he wrote her at 9 a.m. on Sunday from Denver and continued to text her until New Year’s Eve, sending photos and music videos of the vehicle.
The cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger was a 37 year old white guy from Colorado Springs.

Livelsberger dated Arritt for three years between 2018 and 2021, in between his first and second marriage.
Filings from the Franklin County Probate Court in Ohio show that Matthew Alan Livelsberger and Sara Elizabeth Wilson were issued a wedding license on December 3, 2012 and court records also show that a marriage application was filed in El Paso County, Colorado, on July 8, 2022, for Livelsberger and his second wife Jennifer Anne Davis.
US Army veteran Matthew Livelsberger, 37, was on holiday leave from his station in Germany and his father had figured he would be returning to Germany and said nothing with his son seemed amiss.
There is something really off about Matthew Livelsberger. I’m trying to connect the dots but it seems too insane 🙃. Also, he hasn’t been married to this lady for a long time. The media plastering her picture all over the place based on old Facebook pics is sloppy. Last pic is of… pic.twitter.com/nCPiXYQTcm

Matthew was born in an American Christian family and his father Roger was an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. He had an uncle, his father’s younger brother named Dean.

Livelsberger’s father was married several times and had children with a couple of different women according to Dean Livelsberger, who has been semi-estranged from his brother for years.
Livelsberger travelled to Las Vegas by renting a Tesla Cybertruck via the Turo app. He parked the electric truck outside the Trump hotel early on New Year’s morning, set off the explosives inside, and then shot himself to death.
At first, investigators suspected political motivations based on the attack’s location and approach. The Tesla car, built by Trump ally Elon Musk, and the Trump International Hotel, associated with President-elect Donald Trump, appeared to be intentional decisions.
This notion has been compounded by Livelsberger’s past as a fervent Trump fan and “Rambo-type patriot.” According to current sources, he might have purposefully selected the Cybertruck because of its distinctive design, which reduced the blast radius and the number of possible deaths.
The explosion caused minor injuries to seven people, while Livelsberger’s body was completely charred. His Army ID and passport, which were discovered in the truck, were eventually used to identify him.
Livelsberger served in Afghanistan in 2017 and 2018 and was a decorated soldier. He was well-known for his military service and patriotism; his uncle, Dean Livelsberger, called him “a very, very patriotic American.”

In the weeks preceding his passing, Livelsberger’s personal life appeared to fall apart despite his military achievements. Police are currently looking into whether his actions were a premeditated political statement or a last-ditch effort to resolve internal strife.
