Following the multi-vehicle accident in Germany, a representative for Harry Kane’s family came forward and assured that the England captain’s children are “safe” after being hospitalized as a precautionary measure.

For the unfamiliar, the devastating incident took place simultaneously as the striker was arriving in London for Bayern Munich’s Champions League match against Arsenal, which was set to take place around 5:15 pm on Monday evening in Bavaria, near Munich.

As per German media’s reports, a 20-year-old Renault driver collided with the back of a black Mercedes Vito van as the former tried to merge onto a motorway slip road.

Three out of Kane’s four children including Louis, aged 3, Vivienne, aged 5, and Ivy, aged 7 were seated as passengers in the black van involved in the accident. Subsequently the kids were taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary evaluations.

As per media claims, fortunately none of the kids have suffered any injuries and were only taken to the hospital for routine check. As of now, it is believed that Kane’s wife Katie and their youngest child Henry, aged 7 months, were not in the vehicle at the time of accident.

What Did Kane’s Spokesperson Say?

Earlier, in a statement a spokesperson for Kane’s family has came out and revealed that the kids are doing fine.

During the conversation the spokesperson revealed that, “They are fine and only went to hospital for a routine check-up.”

According to media reports, the Mercedes was being driven by a local 24-year-old woman. It is also revealed that there were three passengers in the Renault as well including aged 3, 43, and 48. However, there is no information regarding their gender as of now.

Although a few media outlets claims that a woman aged 62-year-old driving a Land Rover was also involved in the incident. All the involved individuals were taken to a nearby hospital and reports suggests that some were sustaining minor injuries.

While undoubtedly, it’s a concerning moment for the former Tottenham hero Kane, he displayed remarkable composure on the field at the Emirates Stadium. There, he converted a first-half penalty in Bayern’s 2-2 draw against the Gunners in the first leg final of the Champions League.

Despite enduring some taunting chants from the remaining Arsenal enthusiasts as he conducted his post-match interviews on the pitch, Kane maintained his composure and conversed with reporters saying, “It was a challenging game. Naturally, we’re disappointed when we don’t come away with a win.”

Recognizing Arsenal’s recent performances, he further remarked, “You’ve observed it over the past few years, Arsenal has been competitive in their pursuit of the league title, and they currently lead the pack for a reason.”
