Know Who Are Rases Ja And Quintin Ward The Owners Of The White Lives Matter Trademark

Kanye fans were curious to know when and how they can purchase similar items or other clothing bearing the message. It appears that due to a minor technicality, that will not be happening.

Quinton Ward and Ramses Ja, two radio hosts from Phoenix, have now publicly asserted ownership of the trademark and provided evidence to support their claims.

At his YZY SZN 9 performance in Paris at the beginning of October, West made his “White Lives Matter” shirt debut. On the back of the long black tee, a provocative phrase was written in bold white characters. According to Daily Beast, West was joined by conservative broadcaster Candace Owens, who wore a matching white t-shirt.

Additionally, some of the models wore the tagline-adorned Yeezy clothing during the presentation. A few days after the incident, West wore the shirt to his daughter North West’s game to underline his position, saying on Instagram, “Black Lives Matter was a hoax.”

Kanye West’s Remark On The “White Lives Matters” T-Shirt Craze

The fashion mogul stated on Fox News a few days later that he found the entire situation amusing. West remarked, “I thought the shirt was a funny shirt. “I found the prospect of me wearing it amusing.” In reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement, the tagline was developed.” According to the Anti-Defamation League, which was a hate speech.

Kanye included the phrase “White Lives Matter” in his most recent designs. However, he is not permitted to sell any garments bearing the phrase since Phoenix radio jockeys Quinton Ward and Ramses Ja own the trademark.

Who is the trademark owner of “White Lives Matter”?

A devoted fan who had held the term for a few weeks secured it on October 28 to ensure it didn’t fall into the hands of someone wanting to profit from hate speech, like Kanye West. Ja and Ward are the hosts of the Phoenix radio show Civic Cipher.

Ja said in an interview, “According to the law, either you own phrases or they are available for sale to anyone who wants to profit from them. Since the goal was not necessarily to become wealthy from it, the person who initially acquired it didn’t particularly love having it. The intention was to prevent others from profiting financially from that suffering.”

Meanwhile, as per the federal government’s trademark database, Civic Cipher did in fact come into control of the trademark after it was registered on October 3. Ja claims that neither West nor any of his staff had gotten in touch with the radio team concerning the trademark.

He said that their objective, which centres on structural racism throughout the entire nation, is more expansive than Kanye’s. He said, “We have people running for the government right now, and we have people trying to disenfranchise us and suppress our vote.” “I can’t worry about what Kanye is saying all the time.”
