On January 25, 2023, the bodies of Morgan Daub, age 26, and her parents, mother Deborah, age 59, and father James, age 62, were found in the backyard of their Pennsylvania home

In a press release, the West Manchester Township Police Department said that the murder-suicide was a “joint decision” by the family.

The police also found a letter that was written by hand. On the morning of January 25, 2023, people said they heard gunshots. It was decided that the Daub family was a Christian family with a strong faith. When the police went to check on Morgan Daub and her parents, they found their bodies.

Police also found a second letter that was supposedly left by Morgan’s father, James. In it, James said that he wasn’t part of the “suicide pact” from the beginning. In the letters and notes that the family left behind, scary details about the pact were found.

Morgan Daub and both of her parents died after a strange “suicide pact.”

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, police went to a Pennsylvania home to check on the well-being of a person. A neighbour said that just before midnight, he or she heard three shots from a gun.

The person said that the sounds of the first two gunshots were muffled, but the sound of the last one was clearer. He also told the police that about 10 to 15 seconds passed between each shot. On January 24, 2023, they are said to have died.

When police got to the house on Loman Avenue in West Manchester Township, they found something horrible. The bodies of three people who had been shot to death were found in the back yard of the house.

After doing more research, the police found letters and notes that Morgan Daub and her family had written. Law enforcement officials think that the incident may have been the result of a “suicide pact.” The letters were said to have been written at least nine months ago. The notes say that the original “pact” was between Morgan Daub and her mother, Deborah. James was not involved.

Morgan Daub’s family was highly inspired by the Bible

Deborah Daub wrote in a note from April 2022 that she and her daughter had picked the date of the execution based on a Bible verse. She typed:

“Samuel 1:24-28 Morgan chose the date! I believe that I have to be with her!”

The police told the family and Morgan Daub about the “evil” they were facing. She did not say much about it, though.

Method of killing each other

Police think that Deborah killed her husband, James, Morgan Daub killed her mother, and then she killed herself. This is what they found when they looked into the horrible scene at the house. Morgan was supposedly holding a sword that was 2.5 to 3 feet long and said “Sword of the Lord” on it.

The police also found notes that Morgan Daub had written in the trash. She said she was having auditory hallucinations which were not getting any better. Morgan’s body was found close to the porch. She had cut herself in the head, which the police found out. The body of her mother was found next to hers, and both of them had been shot in the head. The body of James was finally found next to Deborah.

One of the letters said that James wanted to kill himself, but he was too scared to pull the trigger, so Deborah did it for him. From the letters, the police were able to figure out that everyone in the family died of their own accord.

Police also checked each family member’s signature against copies of their wills. A number of other references to God and the Bible have also been found by the authorities.

The police found a number of notes, a “living will,” and the drugged family dog. Police also found a scary note with a list of things the 26-year-old had to do before carrying out the murder-suicide plan. On the list were things like talking to her dad, cutting the dog’s nails, and writing letters to her family.

Family left behind dog to be taken care of

Authorities found a letter called “Cooper’s Dog Letter” that told how to take care of the family dog that had been left behind. The dog may have been given a drug so that it wouldn’t attack the people who came to help.

The terrible murder-suicide has shocked everyone in the area. People who knew Morgan Daub said she was a quiet girl who loved to bowl. People say that the family was also very open about what they thought about religion and politics.
