The KIYG 2023 will see over 6,000 participants from all over India who participated in over 27 different sports events.
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the programme is being introduced for reviving the sports culture in the youth of the nation.

The mascots of Khelo India Youth Games -2023, Asha(Cheetah) and Mowgli, and its smart torch 'Amarkantak' were released along with the theme song on Saturday by CM Shivraj.

Mascot of KIYG 2023
Let us remind you, the mascots of KIYG 2023 would be Asha and Mowgli. The theme of this year’s game is Torch Amarkantak which was released on Saturday by Chief Minister of the MP, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister, Nisith Pramanik.
The theme song of 2023 games has been rendered by well-known artist Shaan.
Game Timings
The 5th edition games have already started from January 30 and will take place until February 11. These games will take place in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Khargone.

Prize Money
As per the statement given by the CM of Madhya Pradesh, those who will win the games in KIYG 2023 will be rewarded with medals and along with Rs. 5 Lakh, which will be given to them annually for coaching purposes.
