For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the 28-year-old is the daughter of sports tycoon couple, Terry and Kim Pegula, who are the principal owner of the NFL team, Buffalo Bills as well as the NHL hockey team, the Buffalo Sabres.
In her recent interview, Jessica revealed that her mother suffered a cardiac arrest in June 2022 and remains in recovery.

Now the professional player has come forward and opened about it all. In her statement, Jessica said that her mother was asleep when her dad woke up to her going into cardiac arrest and that she was unresponsive for quite a while.
She furthermore added that her sister even gave CPR until the ambulance arrived. Jessica claimed that her sister “saved mother’s life,” even though “she doesn’t like to take credit for terrible situation.” She continued that “she absolutely saved her life.”
Who is Kim Pegula?
For those who aren’t familiar with Kim, let us tell you, Jessica’s mother, Kim Pegula, who was born on June 7, 1969, is Korean and Jessica’s father is American.
The 53-year-old is the president of Pegula Sports and Entertainment. It’s the holding company and it manages Bills as well as Sabres. Apart from it the company also manages the Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Knighthawks of the NLL and the Rochester Americans of the AHL.
Pegula, who was born in Seoul, South Korea, has no recollection of her birth name and there isn’t any record of her biological parents. The businesswoman was abandoned at the streets of Seoul when she 5.
Her DNA tests resulted that one of her parents is likely to be Japanese. She was brought into the United States after she was adopted by Ralph and Marilyn Kerr on December 30, 1974.
Kim is now reportedly dealing with significant expressive aphasia and memory loss after the cardiac arrest incident but Jessica revealed that she is “improving every day.”

Terry, whose full name, Terrence Michael Pegula, is an American businessman and petroleum engineer. The Pennsylvania native is the owner of Pegula Sports and Entertainment which owns the Buffalo Sabres of NHL.
The 71-year-old reportedly has an estimated net worth of $7 billion. He had started our his company in 1983 with a loan of $6,000 from his family.
