Darwin Blanch’s recent Instagram reaction for drawing against Rafael Nadal is making rounds on social media. The young tennis player is drawn against the Spaniard in the first round of the Madrid Open and his hilarious reaction says it all.

The American took over his Instagram account in collaboration with Tennis TV account and captioned it on the picture, “Guys I play Nadal wtf.” Tennis TV wrote, “POV: you’ve just drawn Rafael Nadal in the first round of the Madrid Open aged 16.”

Darwin Blanch is a tennis profesional player who was born on September 28, 2007 in United States. The 16-year-old stands 190 cm (6 ft 3 in) tall.

Darwin Blanch is Left-handed (two-handed backhanded) American tennis rising star who trains at Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy in Alicante, Spain. At the age of fourteen, in August 2022, he took home the USTA U-16 title.

Talking about jis junior career, after defeating fellow countryman Cooper Williams and junior world No. 1 Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez in straight sets, Blanch moved on to the semifinals of the 2023 French Open Boys’ Singles competition.


In 2023, he advanced to the singles semifinals of the Wimbledon Championships after defeating Lorenzo Sciahbasi of Italy. The teenager was a member of the American team that finished third in the Junior Davis Cup 2023, together with Maxwell Exsted and Jagger Leach.

He started his professional career two years back in 2022. His three-set victory over Gerald Planelles in Villena made him the second-youngest player to receive an ATP ranking point in February of that year.
