The crime branch is presently looking into the Pune Porsche accident blood tampering case.
On May 19, two IT experts passed away when a Porsche driven by a minor named Vedant Agarwal struck their motorbike. According to the authorities, the adolescent was intoxicated when the collision occurred.
The Juvenile Justice Board first gave the youngster bail and ordered him to write an essay about traffic accidents. However, after protesting the police’s review application and receiving backlash, the youth was placed in an observation home until June 5.

In relation to the accident, the teenager’s grandfather and his realtor father have been taken into custody by the police. Now claims of Vedant’s blood reports being tampered have come forward in this Pune Porsche accident case.
Amitesh Kumar who is the commissioner of Pune Police revealed that medical staff at Sassoon General Hospital had taken a blood sample from Vedant Agarwal who is charged in connection with the Pune Porsche accident and had substituted it for the sample of an uninvolved party.
According to the commissioner, On May 19, at approximately 11 a.m., a blood sample from the adolescent obtained at Sassoon Hospital was disposed of in a trash can, while another individual’s blood sample was obtained and forwarded to the forensic laboratory. This blood sample was substituted by CMO Srihari Halnor. Ajay Tawade, the head of the forensic medicine department at Sassoon Hospital, gave the order to Srihari Halnor to replace this.
Two physicians from Pune’s Sassoon General Hospital were detained on suspicion of tampering the blood samples in the Pune Porsche accident. Shrihari Harnor and Dr. Ajay Taware have been named among those detained.
“Around 11 am on May 19, a blood sample that was taken at Sassoon Hospital was thrown in a dustbin and the blood sample of another person was taken and sent to the forensic lab. CMO Srihari Halnor replaced this blood sample. During the investigation, we found Srihari Halnor replaced this on the instructions of Ajay Tawade, HOD of forensic medicine department at Sassoon Hospital,” Mr Kumar said.
The phones of both doctors have been seized. Investigation has revealed Dr Tawade and the teen accused’s father spoke over the phone on the day of the accident, Mr Kumar told the media.

Both doctors’ phones have been seized by the authorities. According to reports, the investigation has brought to light that on the day of the accident, Dr. Tawade and the father of the teenage suspect had a phone conversation.
The Pune teen who is currently staying at an observation home, was said to have tested negative for alcohol in earlier reports. But he was seen drinking with his friends in CCTV footage from one of the places he went to that evening.
