The league knew they were getting the best flag football knowledge possible when they hired Diana Flores and Krouch. The AFC club will have Flores as their offensive coordinator, while the NFC team will have Vanita Krouch in that role.

Who is Diana Flores?
According to a news release from the NFL, Diana Flores was selected to serve as a coach for the Pro Bowl because of her extensive experience in the sport of flag football. There is another name for her: Tochito. Flores, at the tender age of 16, made the Mexico Women’s Flag National Team. In 2022, she captained Mexico to a gold medal at The World Games.

Flores is a veteran of the Mexico Women’s Flag National Teams in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2022. The first quarterback to ever defeat her NFC rival Krouch in an international tournament, she holds that distinction alone. Apart from that one loss, Krouch has a 19-1 record on that stage. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States, was in attendance at an NFL event she attended in Mexico in January, and they had a chance to meet.

Vanita Krouch has had a stellar career in flag football. U.S. Women’s Flag Football Team named her starting quarterback in 2016. Krouch, at age 41, was the oldest competitor in the 2022 World Games. She has led her country to a 19-1 record as the starting quarterback in international competitions.

She has achieved great success in the United States, and she credits her family’s perilous escape from Cambodia for much of her drive and determination. The National Flag and Touch Football Hall of Fame inducted Krouch in 2016.
